I didn't start out as a coach. In fact, coaching or teaching, were the furthest things from my mind when I was slinging my guitar on the gritty stages of Miami's music scene in the late 90's, playing everything from dive bars to drag queen parties and goth gatherings. A world I loved, but that really took a toll on me, physically, emotionally and spiritually.
I spent 9 years following my dream of becoming a rockstar. I practiced hard, I lived and breathed music, I thought I was doing everything right, except things didn't work out the way I expected. In 2003 the band broke up and I went into depression, my lowest point. I spent almost 5 years thinking I was a failure, that nobody cared about what I did and that life was just too difficult.
One day I woke up and decided to change my life around. I transformed my life from being a broke DJ/musician living at my mother's house, with no direction and very little motivation, to being a self-confident and fulfilled individual, living a more than comfortable life, in a new country, with a beautiful family and a relatively low-stress existence.
